International pastry Chef Eliaquim “Jack” Labang, who criticized presidential bet Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte in November 2015, announced that he will give P5 million worth of cakes for free if Mayor Duterte wins the presidential race.
The proprietor of Quim’s cake accused Mayor Duterte of being a liar after Duterte decided to run for president despite his earlier claim that he was not interested in joining.
Labang even dared supporters of Mayor Duterte that if their bet wins, he will give P5 million worth of free cakes. He is willing to do his words as with the celebration of the newly elected leaders of the country through a semi-monthly cake sampling starting July 1 in his shop.
