What Happen When You Cracked an Egg Underwater? Find Out

This short video entitled “The Egg” was released by Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences. Here you will be able to witness how an egg reacted after being cracked underwater.

The divers cracked a raw egg 60 feet below the surface. At first the egg was just moving along with water, but when the divers start twirling his finger, the egg follows the movement of water that was made by the divers’ finger, Also, when the egg was out from the shell, it looks like a very fragile thing underwater.

They discovered, too that the egg doesn’t break or turn into gooey mess, that’s because there’s so much pressure on the egg. Pressure increases the deeper you dive.

If you want to bring the egg back to the surface, it’s still safe to eat, although it might be a bit salty.
