Ella Cruz, the “Teen Dance Princess”, now stars in an actual dance music video after being popular for her cover of the hit song “Dessert”.
Dawin, the international singer who is best known for his 2015 hit song “Dessert” tapped Ella Cruz to be part of the music video for his new song “Throwback”. He did different versions of the music video, starring dancers from the countries he visited. The one from Australia was first released.
The video taken in the Philippines also starred The Maneuveres, who was also part of Ella’s “Dessert” cover.
On her Instagram account, Ella shared a photo of them together and wrote: “Finally met the singer of the hit song Dessert, @dawin! Such a really really nice and humble. Thank you so much! Nagchikahan and ininvite pa niya ako sa show niya. Sobrang bait. Can’t believe. Congratulations on the success of your song! I hope to see you again soon! Thank you for visiting the Philippines again and loving us, Filipinos.”
Dawin uploaded the video on his You Tube account on Wednesday, March 2.
He captioned his post: “@itsellacruz from Philippines! Love this dance you and the dancers did wow. I should crash the party next time aye”. Dawin later followed Ella on Twitter and told her that she’s doing amazing things. He also told her when he visits the Philippines, maybe they can make “Dessert” and do the Nae nae.
