Jeyrick Sigmaton, popularly known as “Carrot Man” from Mountain Province has gone viral, a week ago. Netizens dubbed him as the overly photogenic “carrot man” after a certain Edwina Bandong posted photos of this young good-looking farmer on her Facebook account. Jeyrick was spotted by Bandong when she was heading towards Sagada. Mesmerized by Jerick’s appeal, Bandong snapped several photos of him for everyone to see and admire. The “carrot man”, who is working in a carrot farm in Bauko, Monamon Sur, Mountain Province, is reportedly a member of the Igorot tribe from Kadaclan, Mt. Province, in the highlands of Cordilleras.
Jeyrick has already appeared on Jessica Soho’s show and Unang Hirit, the GMA morning show. When he was asked about his favorite star, he said its Willie Revillame, his idol. On Monday, February 29, the staff and crew of GMA-7 granted Jeyrick’s wish to meet the Kapuso TV host, Willie Revillame. According to Willie, he’s not updated in the social media but when he heard the guesting of “Carrot Man”, he got this a chance to meet Jeyrick.
Jeyrick is a shy-type of person. He was so happy to see his idol. According to him, they watched Wowowin in their province and that Willie has been his idol because his show is full of happiness and it gave lessons to the youth. Willie, on the other hand, was so happy to know that he was the only TV host or entertainer that Jerick has known.
Willie said he will work out with Carrot Man’s guesting on his show, Wowowin.
