An American national, identified as John Frederick Warnaca from Fresno, California, entered a computer shop in Quiapo, Manila at past 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Other users said that by 3:30 p.m., Warnaca was leaning backwards on his seat and not moving anymore. This prompted them to call for help.

Owners of the internet café called police authorities and upon their arrival, Warnaca was declared dead at the scene.
Based on Warnaca’s recent activity in his Facebook account, he was having an online conversation with a Filipina, believed to be his girlfriend. Police say that their online conversation showed that Warnaca and the woman had an argument before Warnaca died.
Police authorities are tracing the family of the American national. According to them, they are attempting to locate Warnaca’s next of kin. They have already informed American Embassy in Manila about the incident.
