Power bank is one of the electronic devices that became a necessity in our daily lives. But did you know that it can also be a deadly device when not used properly or it is overused?
A Nigerian girl became a victim of this power bank recently. She decided to recharge her power bank and placed it on her chest and fell asleep.
As the young girl was sleeping, the power bank apparently got overheated, burnt her skin and subsequently got electrocuted that led her to death.
She was found dead by her parents on Monday morning with her power bank stuck in her body and her right upper side of the chest was burnt down to her flesh.
We decided to publish this story in order that the general public be aware of what this electronic device can do when not in used properly or overused. This is also a call to all users of power banks and other electronic devices such as smart phones to keep distance from it especially when in sleep as these devices are highly combustible materials.
