Kapuso Stars, Rochelle Pangilinan, Former Sexbomb Girls dancer, and Arthur Solinap, mainstay of the sitcom Pepito Manaloto are now engaged after being together for more than seven years.
The surprise proposal happened on Saturday night, February 20, at Balay, Indang Cavite where Arthur popped the question to Rochelle, his lady love.
Arthur planned everything with the help of their family in PPL Entertainment Inc. and Nice Print Photography.
According to PEP, the place is very special to Rochelle and Arthur since its where the episodes of the defunct GMA afternoon soap "Daisy Syete" were shot.
Rochelle has no clue that Arthur would propose to her on that day. She thought the two of them would just be having a dinner as a post-Valentines date and Arthur's late birthday celebration. Rochelle cried seeing surprisingly at the venue their families and friends.
Sunshine Garcia, Aira Bermudes and Mia Pangyarihan, Rochelle's friends from her "Sexbomb Girls" days witnessed the surprise proposal. Other stars who also witnessed the proposal were Michael V and wife Carol Bunagan, Andrea Torres, Sef Cadayona, John Feir, Jolina Magdangal and husband Mark Escueta, Angelika dela Cruz, Gabby Eigenmann, May Collins and Dingdong Dantes, Arthu's cousin.
Several GMA network Executives headed by Ms. Lilybeth Rasonable came.
"Your'e Always Be my Baby," "Tadhana" at "Photograph" were among the songs requested personally of Arthur to serve as background music to his proposal to Rochelle. These songs were sung by Migz Haleco as the Hebron Valley area in Balay, Indang opened.
The surprise proposal ended with fireworks.
