Sofia Loren Deliu is a former Miss Philippines-Earth candidate and a police inspector. She is a “beauty queen cop” who will be part of the presumptive President Duterte’s security team, according to a report by GMA Network’s news program Saksi.
The beauty queen, along with other female cops had met with the incoming president last Sunday. She was seen shaking hands and exchanging words with Duterte.
Sophia Loren entered the Philippine National Police Academy in 2014, shortly after graduating from St. Louis University in Baguio City with a bachelor’s degree in tourism management.
She was the chief supply officer at the PNP Regional Public Safety Battalion before embarking on her Miss Philippines-Earth journey in 2015.
Sophia is half-Filipina, half- Romanian. Her father is a military man. She made headlines after joining the Miss Philippines-Earth beauty pageant.
