A certain Edwina T. Bandang was heading towards Sagada when she spotted a young farmer carrying carrots. Smitten by his good-looking appeal, Bandong snapped several photos of him for everyone to see and admire. A quick glance at his photos will make you assume that he came straight out of your mother’s favorite Koreanovela or with uncanny resemblance with Korean celebrities such as Jang Geun Suk and singer Cho Min-ho.

Bandong shared his photos on her Facebook profile which she refers as the “Carrot Man“ for working in a carrot farm in Bauko, Monamon Sur, Mountain Province.



Netizens dubbed the attractive farmer as the overly photogenic “carrot man” after Bandong posted photos of him carrying carrots on her Facebook account. Bandong’s post has gone viral. Her post was shared 1,233 times as pf writing but it gained so much attention from netizens, getting over 5,000 reactions and 1,700 comments after Positive Overlook Plus posted it on their Facebook page. Netizens can’t help but express their admiration for the “Carrot Man” who is reportedly a member of the Igorot tribe from Kadaclan, Mt. Province in the highlands of Cordillera.


With the help of some “resourceful” netizens, they were able to identify the good-looking man in the viral photos. He was identified as Jeyrick Sigmaton, a native Igorot.
