Adele, the British pop star, stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, February 18. She teamed up with the host to pulled off a prank on unsuspecting Jamba employees with her bizarre antics as DeGeneres, who was back in the studio, fed her material in an earpiece what to say, do, and even eat at a random Jamba Juice in California.
Before Adele went inside the store, her assistant talked to the staff to treat Adele as a “normal customer”. The “Hello” artist approached an employee asking for a Jamba Juice. After some confusion over the small, medium, large options, Adele ended up ordering large but in a small cup which puzzled the employee.
But the employees were even more surprised when Adele takes out a pair of scissors, cuts off some wheat grass by hand, and chomps it down, She said “I feel like a deer in a forest,” then made some deer sounds. Adele asked her assistant to brush her hair while she was chewing on the wheat grass.
After a while, she took out a bottle of amaretto and asks if the employees can add it to her smoothie. The cashier told Adele : “I don’t think we can do this. I mean I can give you this, put it in your purse and drink it for later.”
When it was time to pay, Adele took all the stuff from her bag –knives and twizzlers. She then asked, “Do I have to pay?” I’m a celebrity.
“Maybe you could get it free, with my manager’s approval,” the cashier told Adele.
Adele then told the Jamba employees that Degeneres will pay because she had been telling her what to say and its prank.
