Last year, we have witnessed an accident from Jingzhou Shopping Mall in China that was captured in CCTV the heroic act of a mother named "Xiang Liujuan" who died and saved her son from a collapsing escalator floor.
This February 19, another CCTV video captures an escalator malfunction which suddenly speeding up in a reverse direction. It is an escalator in a subway station in Ningbo, China and it happened during the morning rush hour.
It seems that the escalator was overcrowded and the moment that the mechanics begin to fail, the commuters suddenly thrown to the ground and pile on top on each other.
Five people were injured on the escalator incident. Luckily, they only got minor injuries.
