Senator Antonio Trillanes IV had slammed supporters of presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte who cried foul over negative political ad on TV featuring children criticizing Mayor Duterte. Trillanes paid for this political ad.
According to Sen. Trillanes: “Dutertards’ are suddenly concerned about children? Yet every time Duterte cusses and jokes about his rape, etc. not realizing children are listening, too? Such hypocrisy, right?” said Sen. Trillanes adding that laws were “strictly followed” in the production of the video.
Trillanes added: “The truth definitely hurts. The children were purposely used to hammer the message that they should always be part of the consideration in our choice of leaders of the country not only because it is for their future but also because they will emulate these leaders.
