During the first telecast of “The Voice Kids” last night, May 28, Sharon Cuneta’s rotating chair malfunctioned as it went to 360 degree turns after she pressed the red button in support to contestant Noel Comia Jr. for his rendition of “Can This Be Love.”
Sharon who replaced Popstar Sarah Geronimo experienced a first time in the history of “The Voice Kids.”
Everyone was laughing including Sharon but Noel continued with his performance till the end. Sharon finds humor on the incident saying the chair malfunction proves her critics wrong. According to her: “Sabi ng basher ko, baka daw hindi gumalaw yung silya. Tingnan mo, gumaan ako. Dalawang beses umikot.”
Noel ended choosing Leah Salonga as his coach.
The incident put Sharon on Twitter’s Top Trending topics.
