The 46-year old Robin Padilla, an action star, “Game ng Bayan” host and “Pilipinas Got Talent” judge surprised his wife, Mariel with a brand new van.
Mariel Rodriguez, “It’s Showtime” host, took to her Instagram to express her gratitude for the brand new van Robin gave to her.
According to Mariel, ”I was rushing home after work so I can watch Game ng Bayan at home.When I arrived , there was a brand new van parked in our courtyard when I opened it… the car was filled with roses… the biggest surprise!!! I thought my husband bought himself a brand new car… when I saw the roses I knew the car was MINE!!! Thank you babe!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!! I’m the lucky one! I promise to continue being faithful to you, to honor you at all times, to support you, to believe in you, to pray for you, respect you and love you forever! I know you work hard, thank you for being a good provider to us. I still can’t believe it!!! What a surprise!!!”
Mariel and Robin met on the set of Wowowee in 2010 when Robin became temporary presenter, Robin confirmed marriage to Mariel in September 2010, which occurred at the Taj Mahal in India on August 19, 2010.
In March 2015, Mariel said she suffered from miscarriage. In August 2015, Robin announced that he and Mariel were expecting triplets. But few weeks after Robin’s announcement, a statement was released by Robin’s manager that Mariel has suffered a miscarriage again.
