Kim Chiu, known as Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu in real life is a Chinese Filipino actress and model in the Philippines. She first starred in the television series, Sana Maulit Muli which won her the Year’s Most Promising Female Star as GMMSF.
She is the star in “The Story of Us” and nearly walked out on the set of “Gandang Gabi Vice”, a Sunday late night talk show of the comedian Vice Ganda.
Vice Ganda, the show’s host mentioned to Kim that as she marks her 10th year in show business, they initially planned on giving her a pet dog.
She was asked by Vice: “Mahilig ka ba sa aso?” Kim replied: “May aso ako, pero okay lang.”
When Kim was asked about her favorite dog, she replied: “Pomeranian.”
Vice Ganda went on to ask Kim about animals she doesn’t like. Kim immediately replied: “Pusa.” “Na itim, na yellow ‘yung mata.”
It turned out that the conversation was part of Vice Ganda’s prank – a man dressed up as a cat approached Kim from behind, causing her to scream.
Kim attempted to walk out on the late night show but she eventually returned on stage after Vice Ganda joked, “Uy, magpo- promote ka pa!”
