In Japan, there is this adorable penguin, named Lola, who's trained to wear a backpack and walk to the fish market to fetch dinner.
Lola, the King Penguin was injured several years ago. He used to live in the Antartic, got tangled in a fishing line and was rescued by a Japanese Fisherman.
The fisherman's family, in Shibushi City, nursed Lola back to health. But when he was fully recovered, the penguin refused to leave, refused to be returned to the sea.
The Nishimoto family made him their pet. So Lola resides in their home and even has his own air-conditioned room.
