Comedian Vic Sotto confirmed his engagement to actress and longtime girlfriend Pauleen Luna last September. The engaged couple has announced that they wanted their upcoming wedding to be private and exclusive only for their relatives and close friends. Pauleen said that the details of the wedding will be revealed "in God's perfect time". It maybe the second week of January 2016, but as for as she is concerned. "in God's perfect time" has not yet come.
But then just recently, Pauleen Luna expressed her dismay after ABS-CBN reported a lot of details about their much-anticipated day. According to her, Pauleen Luna - Vic Sotto details such as the date and the venue should have not been revealed to the public. For her, ABS-CBN was wrong to divulge such information without their consent.
Pauleen sarcastically posted on her Facebook page that was subsequently deleted, and here is her statement: “Dearest ABS-CBN, Thank you SO much for revealing all the details about our wedding. Thank you So much for mentioning even the date and the venue. Thank you because now we’re finally going to achieve the exclusivity that we want! And last but not the least, thank you SO much for asking if it’s okay to report about it. God Bless!"
The report by ABS-CBN Entertainment reporter Mario Dumawal said the information had come from no less than Pauleen's manager, Lolit Solis.
The Pauleen Luna - Vic Sotto wedding is going to be held soon, in time when Pia Wurtzbach, her bestfriend and bridesmaid, confirmed that she will be attending the wedding set for January 30, as part of her homecoming trip.
Pauleen and Pia are bestfriends. They both started their careers with ABS-CBN's Star Circle Quest Batch II. Pia reportedly asked for the support of fans of Aldub loveteam through Pauleen. It was believed that online voting was a big factor in Pia's victory as Miss Universe 2015.
