Maine Mendoza was best known for her viral Dubsmash videos and her role as Yaya Dub in the noontime variety show Eat Bulaga. She was accidentally paired to Alden Richards forming the loveteam AlDub. The Aldub's popularity worldwide became phenomenal.
Last October 2015, 55,000 fans gathered and watch the AlDub loveteam at the Philippine Arena to witness the most awaited episode of kalyeserye's "Tamang Panahon". This episode generated more or less 41 million tweets, according to Twitter.

Hacker group Anonymous Philippines took over Maine Mendoza's Twitter account early Tuesday morning.
They apologized for the damaged that they've caused. They said that they will give the Twitter account of Maine Mendoza back as soon as they're done.

Yaya Dub’s sister, Niki Mendoza-Catalan, took to Twitter early Tuesday to vent out her frustration on those who hacked Maine’s account. Coleen Mendoza echoes her sister's feelings by retweeting Niki's post.
However in the Facebook page of Anonymous Philippines, they posted their Press Release regarding to the issues of hacking the Twitter account of Maine Mendoza.
They said that they have no bad intentions in hacking the account of Maine, thus they used internet to communicate to the people.
