Chelsea Ake-Salvacion, a 24-year old Filipina was found dead inside a cryotherapy chamber in the clinic that she manages in Nevada.
She was born to a Mexican-Hawaiin mother, her biological father is a Filipino living in Hawaii.
Salvacion works as a manager of Rejuvenice Salon in Henderson, Nevada. The clinic offers Cryotherapy, which involves exposing the body to negative 240 degree Fahrenheit temperature in a cold chamber. It aims to relieve pain from the body by cold chamber. It aims to relieve pain from the body by cold treatment, it provides anti-aging effects and strengthen immune system.
It was supposed to be a 3-minute session but authorities believe that Salvacion was frozen to death for more than 10 hours in the cryotherapy chamber after accidentally locked herself while she was closing the shop. It was an "Operator Error" according to the investigators.
Salvacion's family is patiently waiting for the results of pathology from Chelsea's autopsy
