Kat de Castro, daughter of “TV Patrol” anchor Noli de Castro and former ABS-CBN employee had defended the Kapamilya network on Thursday after airing Anti-Duterte advertisement using innocent children in attacking the leading presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

Kat, also a Duterte supporter, says she “still believes in ABS-CBN credibility despite airing the Anti-Duterte ad.” She asked the netizens to look for the person who funded the commercial ad instead of pointing fingers and calling ABS-CBN a biased network.

Kat de Castro revealed through her post that Sen. Trillanes, the vice presidential candidate who kept on attacking Mayor Duterte, that the senator was the one who is behind the controversial ad. Kat questioned the source of Trillanes funds and his capability to launch an attack to Duterte despite the fact that Trillanes could not even afford to finance his own political ad.

The controversial political ad became the hottest topic on social media and it was noted that the ad was not only seen in ABS-CBN but also in GMA-7.
