A family in Russia luckily escaped a fire in their home by jumping off a top floor balcony to safety.
Parents Vitaly and Elena had no choice but to throw Zhenyu and Xenia, their two kids, from the balcony of their fifth floor apartment as smoked curled from the windows. There are no signs of fire engines in the area.
A group of 20 people gathered on the street below to catch the family. Footage captured is captured by onlookers showed the parents dropping their youngest child to the neighbors on the ground, followed by their second child. The mother is climbing over the edge of the balcony and jumped.
The two children and their mother landed safely. However, the father was injured and taken to the hospital.
The smoke is at its clearest now.
