Actress Valeen Montenegro had denied rumors saying that she is the reason behind the separation of actress Ciara Sotto and businessman Jojo Oconer.
In an exclusive interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep) Valeen said she did not know where the issue started. She doesn’t want to talk about it and does not need to defend herself.
According to Valeen: “I cannot talk about it. The talent management also advised me not. Sorry, I really don’t want to talk about it.” Valeen said she is doing okay but was surprised when her name was dragged in the issue.
As reported on ABS-CBN News, rumors of Valeen’s involvement with Ciara’s husband made the news earlier after Ciara revealed that she left the marital home she shared with Jojo and moved into her parents’ house. Ciara did not reveal the reason behind their separation but hinted in a series of Instagram posts that there’s a third party involved in their marriage.
Although many speculated that it was Julia Clarete, Ciara came to her defense and denied it. The attention was soon towards Valeen, who stars in three APT Entertainment Productions, where Jojo Oconer is CEO and Senior Vice President.
Ciara wrote a post in her Facebook.
Ciara met Jojo in 2005 during one of the US shows of noontime variety program “Eat Bulada.” They tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed their son Vicenzo Xose on February last year.
