Darren Espanto, a 14-year old singer has been very vocal about his admiration for Cassy Legaspi, the 15-year old charming daughter of Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi.
For the first time, Darren met his “crush” Cassy at the backstage of the musical variety show “ASAP.”
Darren posted on Instagram a photo of himself with Cassy and her twin brother Mavy outside the dressing room. In previous interviews, Darren had been very open about his admiration for Cassy. He even told the press that he wants Cassy as his leading lady if ever he pursues acting.
Meanwhile, Darren’s close friend and fellow “The Voice Kids” finalist JR Labajo shared a stolen photo of the two at the backstage. JR teasingly captioned the sweet photo, “Ermagherd! HINDI SILA TAO...[bagay sila!]”
On Instagram (@darrenespanto1), Darren happily said, “With the twins! This was the first time we really got to meet each other!”
