Champion boxer Manny Pacquiao has provoked a storm of criticism in his home country after describing gay couples as 'worse than an animal'. He was asked about his stance on gay marriage. This controversial issue angered the LGBT communities and other famous local celebrities like Vice Ganda, Aiza Seguerra, John Lapus and Boy Abunda.
Last Tuesday, February 16, Manny Pacquiao issued an apology.

Yeng Constantino posted a video-blog about the LGBT issue. Yeng is currently in Palawan together with his husband Yan Asuncion. She stated that this morning, one of her fans tweeted her and asked her to take a stand just like what Manny Pacquiao did because she is a Christian. Yeng said that she was mad and wanted to reply to that tweet, but Yan stopped her.
She admitted that she is a Christian yet she has a brother who is a gay.
At the end of the video, she still didn't want to make a stand in the said issue.
