A woman from China, named Ding Aihua has been producing stone tears for 7 years. She claimed that stones the size of soybeans keep coming of her eyes. She has has turned to media for help because doctors won’t take her seriously. Ding Aihua noticed pain in her eyes and her husband, Liang Xinchun who is a farmer in Lufang village in Heze City, Shandong, China was shocked to discover a stone under her eyelid. He uses wire to remove the stone to ease her wife’s pain. She was okay for a while but then he had found another stone in her eyes, which are hard, silvery white and are difficult to remove.
Liang says they had traveled across the country to seek treatment but doctors refuse to accept that they are telling the truth. The doctors treat him as if he and his wife are crazy.
Because of such treatment from medical doctors, the couple decided to seek for the media’s help and showed one of the stones in his wife’s eye socket to prove her strange problem is for real.
Journalists accompanied them to the Aier Eye Hospital in Heze City where the woman is being treated. The doctor, Dr. Cui Yinchun said the woman suffers from serious eye diseases, including conjunctivitis and trachoma.
Aier Eye Hospital has sent the stones provided by the couple to regional mineral inspection authorities for further investigation.
