Male college students in Bulacan State University formulated a strike and wrote banners to send their grievances to the admin saying “No to Haircut Policy”. My hair has nothing to do with my studies, says another.
This is their appeal to the administration of the said university who implements a policy for the haircut of the students. This incident went viral on social media sites which created on online debate once again.
Many share the sentiments of these students, saying that the administration of schools in general should focus on giving better quality education and exerts their efforts in the academic of the students instead of how they look.
Many people said that it is just merely a simple school policy that everyone should abide. It is just a simple rule to discipline the students. This type of discipline will hone them into becoming better citizens and individuals in the future when they apply for jobs.
But there are some agreed with the sentiments of the students.
The administration of the university has not yet given any statement regarding the strike that their students have made.
