The mother of Angelica Yap, known as Pastillas Girl in the lunchtime program "Its Showtime" by ABS-CBN was shot dead in Caloocan City, Sunday November 30, Teresa Yap or simply Teteng - Angelica's mother, has been receiving threats lately that they would kill her before Christmas. Teteng was known to be a Barangay Kagawad. Teteng was shot at the back of her head as she went out with one of her daughters and niece to have dinner at a roadside lately.
People in the streets panicked as they have seen the body of Teresa lying in the streets. They rushed her to the hospital but was pronounced dead at 9:20 pm. The incident was caught on a CCTV and investigation is on going.
Police said that they already have the copy of the CCTV footage that can help them and will be a valuable information to find who did this to the mother of Pastillas Girl. They also said that they were still determining what was the motive for the murder.
